Be part of Shakespeare's greatest love story, and help us bring to life the passion and spectacle of Romeo & Juliet this summer!
Together with a youth ensemble, we’re casting a range of performers aged 18+ to help us bring to life a pivotal scene in Romeo & Juliet: the Capulet ball where Juliet and Romeo meet for the first time.
This is a high society party where the movers and the shakers of Verona strut their stuff and where the Capulets are showing off the best they can.
Performing will involve some dancing/movement, possibly a little dialogue, and buckets of energy to bring this fun and beautiful scene to life. Please note this is an unpaid participation opportunity.

Casting workshops
Saturday 23rd March (12.30pm - 2pm or 2.45pm - 4.15pm) OR Monday 25th March (7.15pm - 8.45pm)
We will invite you to attend one of these sessions at our rehearsal rooms.
Rehearsals
Saturdays 25th May, 1st, 8th, 15th June
Each session will be approx. 4 hours.
Technical and dress rehearsals week commencing 17th June
Tech: Tuesday 18th June (evening).
Dress: Thursday 20th (evening), Friday 21st (afternoon)
You will be called for the Tech and at least one of the dress rehearsals.
Performances
21st June – 13th July (Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, Saturday matinees at 2.30pm).
You will need to commit to being available to perform at 2-3 performances per week.
You will not be required to stay past the interval.
