COMMUNITY TOUR

The Community Tour combines an extensive schools and a variety of community venues, enabling people, young and old, to engage with professional live theatre right on their doorstep.

For the schools it's a wonderful opportunity to experience Shakespeare's words up-close - possibly for the very first time; whilst for audiences in community venues, the performances encourage neighbours to come together for a shared experience in their own environment.

The Community Tour is about more than performance — it’s about people and connection, sparking conversations and inspiring the next generation of theatre lovers.

THE PRODUCTIONS IN ACTION

OUR PARTNERS

The Community Tour is a co-production with The Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond.

We have partnered Reading Rep to tour Berkshire schools, and The Mercury Theatre in Colchester is our partner for Essex schools.

Performances in Surrey schools are completely free thanks to the generosity gift from a benefactor who wishes to remain anonymous. We are grateful to The Geoff Herrington Foundation who supported the tour in its first 6 years.
