ARTS & BUSINESS: TOGETHER, CENTRE STAGE
“Inventive, entrepreneurial. Bravo.” The Daily Telegraph
GSC receives no core funding from central or local government, which means subsidy and charitable support are essential to our business model. Each 'main house' season costs £100,000-£160,000. Around 75% of this is met in earned income. GSC receives a small proportion of public funding on a project-related basis, which is never guaranteed.
For 20 years Surrey’s business community have been instrumental in helping us establish a reputation for high quality, award-winning, innovative and inclusive theatre experiences. The success of these productions is the catalyst to enable our life-changing community work across the region, improving engagement for socially excluded groups and the least advantaged in our community.
In short, our Corporate Sponsors:
- play a vital role in helping us make exciting theatrical experiences for everyone
- grow the local community, its economy and cultural well-being
- enable us to create more jobs for freelance artists
- ensure GSC continues to develop a strong foundation to diversify and expand our artistic legacy
In return for their vision and generosity, our Corporate Sponsors enjoy:
- a close personal relationship with GSC
- a unique platform for client development
- meeting CSR objectives
- access to our loyal audiences
We understand that all businesses are different, as are their desires to support their community, so we're happy to chat with you to create the right package.
