Need a new challenge? Looking to make some new friends? Feeling inspired to get to know Shakespeare a bit more?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our adult classes are the perfect way to introduce, or rediscover, the inspiring world of Shakespeare. Together we'll explore why his remarkable plays are still being performed 400 years on.<\/p>\n

Delivered by theatre professionals, with regular visits from our main-house production\u2019s creatives and actors, GSC\u2019s practical evening classes are designed to help you discover The Bard in a fun and supportive environment. We explore Shakespeare\u2019s great plays through close reading, group discussion and practical exercises in our professional rehearsal room. Each term culminates in a celebration of the term\u2019s discoveries.<\/p>\n

No experience of Shakespeare or acting necessary and all ages welcome. This is not an acting class but\u00a0there will be tea and biscuits! Just bring yourself and a desire to learn.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

In preparation for our open-air production of Romeo & Juliet<\/em><\/strong> in June and July, this 6 week term will be exploring some of the forgotten and often cut scenes from Shakespeare's great love story. Did you know there are characters like Potpan, Peter and Lord Capulet's cousin; as well as scenes with musicians and watchmen discovering the tragedy in the tomb before the ending? Discover all this and more!<\/p>\n
