"Never heard so much laughter at a play before"

“If you've missed out on this production then you've denied yourself an absolute treat.”

ABOUT

"If music be the food of love, play on"

Viola loves Orsino; Orsino loves Olivia.

Olivia loves Cesario...who is actually Viola in disguise.

Sir Andrew loves Olivia; but Olivia marries Sebastian...thinking it's Cesario.

Sir Toby loves Maria...and Malvolio loves, well, Malvolio!

Join us in June for Shakespeare’s sublime comic masterpiece of mistaken identity, where wine flows, songs abound and yellow stockings are the order of the day!

We're delighted that Charlotte Conquest will be directing our 41st show following her huge successes with The Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Taming of the Shrew, The Comedy of Errors and Romeo & Juliet. Cast will be announced later in the Spring.

KEY QUOTES

"Some are born great, some achieve greatness, some have greatness thrust upon 'em"

"What country, friends, is this?"

"Many a good hanging prevents a bad marriage."

"O time, thou must untangle this, not I.
It is too hard a knot for me t'untie."

"If this were played upon a stage now, I could condemn it as an improbable fiction."
