The 2009 production of The Taming of the Shrew saw Director Charlotte Conquest making her GSC debut, directing a fabulously frivolous and modern-set open-air production of this much-loved play.
Our Co-Founder Sarah led the company in the role of Katherina, and was joined by Tom Peters as Petruchio, who the following year would go on to play Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet.
This show also introduced audiences to actors Alex Scott Fairley and Michael Sheldon who have since gone on to appear in many more of our productions.
