MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

16 June – 2 July 2011

“GSC bring out the sunshine...lively, occasionally poignant and often laugh-out-loud funny; it is absolutely not to be missed!"

What better way to celebrate our 5th anniversary than with the play that started it all off, Much Ado About Nothing.

Co-Founders Matt and Sarah re-prised their roles of Beatrice and Benedick, amidst an early 20th century summer fete. Punch and Judy, Coconut Shy, Skittles and visiting local Morris Dancers created an immersive ‘roll-up’ festival atmosphere for our audiences.

“Guildford Shakespeare Company yet again proves itself one of the strongest, most consistent companies operating in and around London.” Playshakespeare.com

“A visual feast. Not a dull moment from start to finish! It was like being carried along on the crest of a wave.” Audience member
