KEY STAGE 4 WORKSHOPS
From Shakespeare to Shaw, Stevenson to Priestley, our Key Stage 4 bespoke workshops provide interactive, performance-based support to develop deeper insight into GCSE (and IGCSE) texts, covering AO1, AO2 and AO3
Our team of experienced facilitators and professional actors bring a range of techniques from the 'rehearsal room' to explore themes, characters, interpretation and use of language.
“The students found it stimulating and relevant. Many felt it gave them more ammunition to tackle their exams with.” Hampton Court House School
Benefits for students include:
- Improved confidence with written text.
- Increased knowledge of 'text in performance'
- Greater engagement in the classroom
- Improvements when working with others and independently
We understand that not every school's timetable, students and needs are the same, so we can modify our workshops to suit your needs.
REVISION WORKSHOPS
Ideal for: GCSE/IGCSE Students covering AQA, Edexel, WJEC/Edquas and OCR.
Details: 2 hour workshop, from £550; for up to 30 students (£6.50 per pupil after); one facilitator and 2 actors
How it works: This interactive, performance-based workshop supports GCSE in developing deeper insight into their set texts, covering AO1, AO2 and AO3. By exploring how different performance choices shape meaning, students see first-hand how the use of language affects the audience and how interpretation influences audience understanding.
Through live performance of key scenes and guided discussion, students investigate character, language, context, and staging — all directly linked to AO1, AO2 and AO3 for their written exams. The workshop bridges the gap between page and stage, giving students fresh perspectives and precise critical vocabulary to elevate their exam responses.
“There was clear focus on the dramatic elements of the play, but rooted in the text itself, which was perfect for the GCSE candidates." Tormead School

PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS
Ideal for: Large groups, students studying complete plays.
Details: 80 minute workshop, £800; for a whole year group (up to 120 students. £6.50 per pupil after); One facilitator and 3 actors
How it works: Using the original text, our actors deliver an abridged version of your chosen play, especially cut and designed to transport students into the whole of the story without leaving their school. Depending on the play, students take small roles within the performance, acting alongside our actors.
The performance is staged script in hand with highly skilled, professional GSC actor facilitators with some props and costumes to help bring the story to life. The session concludes with a Q&A session with the cast.
“Having worked with other companies in the past my colleagues and I were so impressed by the actors. We would definitely love to have you back next year!” Calthorpe Park School
