Inspired By Alice Day

This Saturday we're going back down the rabbit hole for Guildford's Inspired by Alice Day.

Curated by Guildford Borough Council, from 11am there will be a host of FREE events in the Castle Gardens for all ages to enjoy.

Alongside face painting, craft workshops and reduced entry to the Castle Keep, we'll be re-staging a number of the key scenes from our 2015/18 production.

Once again you'll be able to meet the Playing Cards painting the roses red, Alice and the White Rabbit will be roaming the Castle Gardens looking for the Queen and you can take your seats at the maddest of Tea Parties with the Mad Hatter, March Hare and the Dormouse!

There will also be some classic storytelling in the secret Alice Garden.

Here's the schedule for Guildford Shakespeare's performances:

Story Telling Performance Times

1.30pm - GSC reading - Alice Garden

2.30pm - GSC reading - Alice Garden

3.30pm - GSC reading - Alice Garden

Tea Party Performance Times

12 noon Tea Party - Castle Mound

1.00pm Tea party - Castle Mound

Who knows, by the end maybe you too may believe in “as many as six impossible things before breakfast”,  just like Alice!

Please note, this event is organised by Guildford Borough Council, not GSC, and all queries should be directed to Guildford Tourist Information
