The second show in our summer season saw us take on the mighty Henry V with just 5 actors and the massive backdrop of Guildford Cathedral!
We called on our audiences to use their “imaginary forces” to bring to life armies, battles and two mighty monarchies. Henry V is a play that celebrates theatre and is unashamedly theatrical in that it acknowledges its limitations – we harnessed that and created one of best loved shows.
Using son-et-lumiere style projections high above the cast on the cathedrals walls, we transported audiences to Agincourt and back.
