FAMILY WELL-BEING

Breaking the Cycle, Together

With My Eyes, our unique, free-to-access dramatherapy programme brings two generations together—creating moments of mutual understanding before offering tailored sessions in separate groups to break the cycle of mental health challenges in a safe, supportive space.

This approach not only nurtures individual well-being but also helps each generation build a new support network that lasts beyond the programme. Now in our sixth year, we’re proud to continue working with registered Dramatherapists to deliver this transformative experience.

We’re deeply grateful to the National Lottery Community Fund and the players of the National Lottery for making this milestone possible.

TO REFER A FAMILY

This course is completely free to attend and includes group trips to GSC’s professional theatre shows, which are a great bonding experience for the groups and generates further topics of conversation.

We will consider any family that has a child (aged 13-18) with mental health and social difficulties.

2026 forms will be made available in early 2026.

PLAY ON

Play On is a drama club for past-participants of our outreach projects. The sessions allow us to provide further support and grow our relationship with them, while they relax and enjoy theatre games with other young people.

Play On is run by GSC facilitators, allowing us to continue our relationship with children from our existing outreach programmes. In turn the participants are given much needed consistency and a safe, fun environment to express themselves.

“I have witnessed incredible improvements in the participant’s confidence and self-esteem. The positive impact that this new regular weekly class is having on their well-being is evident from the energy, laughter and enjoyment they all share.” Rob Cann, GSC’s Education Manager

Play On is made possible by generous support by The Wrentham Trust
