DAVID COPPERFIELD | 29th May - 28th June 2026 New York
We’re delighted to share that this May GSC are returning to New York for the second year running as part of 59E59 Theaters’ prestigious Brits Off Broadway season, with David Copperfield!
Last year Pride & Prejudice enjoyed a five-week sell-out run with 59E59 Theaters, and in December their audiences voted it one of their Top 3 shows of the year!
Sarah Gobran said:
“It’s so exciting to have a second show performing consecutively as part of the Brits Off Broadway season in New York, especially in our 20th Anniversary Year.Pride & Prejudice was so well received out there last year, and it was a real delight to perform to 59E59 Theaters’ audiences, who were so warm and receptive. I just know that they are going to love David Copperfield as much, and can’t wait to be out there again to watch the initial response.”
We can’t wait to share this enchanting production with New York audiences and we’d would love it if you could share our news with your friends and family from across the pond to get a taste of what you enjoy here.

ABOUT
GSC’s ‘unmissable’ adaptation of Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield is the whirlwind tale of a young man’s life from humble beginnings to literary renown; a journey of romance and adventure filled with lovable rogues, wily scoundrels and benevolent patrons.
From the same creative team behind our internationally acclaimed Pride & Prejudice comes our latest adaptation of another cherished classic novel.
Three actors bring to life over 20 larger-than-life characters with ‘delightful dollops of mischief and inventive comic eccentricity’ (Guardian) in an enchanting romp that ‘sparkles with wit, charm and bonhomie’ (West End Best Friend). 'Ensemble playing doesn’t come much sharper than this' (The Times)
Book now for ‘A copper-bottomed sure-fire hit’ (Reviews Gate) with ‘Dickens’s irresistible richness intact’ (TimeOut).
