A COMPANY OF RASCALS 10 - 26 July

What is going on in the world beyond the stage?

A Company of Rascals is a hilarious new play written by Phil Porter to be performed simultaneously with The Comedy Of Errors, and with the same cast of fabulous comic characters.

It takes its audience on a journey round the bawdy backstreets of Ephesus, a world of charlatans and bootleggers. Will visiting merchant Egeon, the only honest man in town, raise the ransom to buy his own freedom in a world where nobody is quite who they seem?

Staged in promenade across various locations around the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre whilst The Comedy of Errors takes place on the main stage. Both plays are performed by the same cast at the same time, cleverly intertwining the action and characters of both. Timing will be everything!
