GSC SATURDAYS

Every Saturday we ignite the imagination of young actors in small friendly groups. Working with professional actors and stage combat instructors, they play fun games, rehearse plays, strengthen their confidence and learn more about the exciting world of theatre.

In recent years, we've performed as part of the Sonnet Walk Weekend, produced As You Like It at Guildford Castle, Henry V at GSC's 10th Anniversary Gala and recorded short audio-plays with Eagle Radio!

GSC Saturdays meet every Saturday, 10am-midday, at Guildford County School, Portsmouth Road.

2019 TERM DATES

Spring Term 2019: 12 January - 30 March (HT 16 & 23 February; no class).

The older group will be rehearsing the legendary Henry V; Shakespeare’s most patriotic play. You can expect lots of epic sword fights, kingly battle-cries and the original Englishmen-Irishman-Scottishman joke.
The younger group will be working with GSC’s own Assistant Director, Indiana Lown-Collins, to create an original piece inspired by digital technology. This will be performed at GLive as part of the Innovate Guildford; Science and Arts Festival.
