Although we are based in Guildford, Guildford Shakespeare Company, like Shakespeare’s original company, are very happy to take our performances ‘on the road’.

If you have, or are responsible for, a venue that you think would benefit from having one our productions we would be delighted to hear from you.

Maybe you already have open-air theatre or music but would like something fresh to present to your visitors, or maybe it’s something you have always wanted to happen at your venue but didn’t know how to go about arranging it.

THE ROYAL AUTOMOBILE PRIVATE MEMBERS CLUB, Wooton Park, Epsom

This private members club wanted something different from their usual 'last night of the proms' concert, and so invited us to bring our full version of 2009's The Taming of the Shrew, complete with props, costumes, sound, set and full cast of ten. Being a site-specific company, we tailored the performance to fit the beautiful grounds of Wooton Park and we even commandeered one of the club's golf buggies to use in the show!
