February 2010 saw us move indoors for the first time with our first Winter Season. The stunning 18th Century Holy Trinity Church on Guildford High Street whose epic grandeur made for a spectacular setting.
In keeping with the architecture of Holy Trinity Church, the setting was the elegant but volatile Regency period: a time when aristocratic families were still coming to terms with the changes in society brought about by the horrors of the French Revolution, whilst at the same time young men and women were discovering a new freedom in art, romance and adventure. Director Charlotte Conquest and Designer Lucy Wilkinson returned from 2009's The Taming of the Shrew to take charge of this critically acclaimed production.
